18 April 2025:
UPDATE: OSGrid has reopened, and the grid so far seems to be stable. I will be accepting new rentals soon, but be advised that I will increase prices to new orders. This is regrettable, especially at a time when so many of us are struggling to make ends meet, but it is also inevitable.
Masala estates has maintained the same prices since August 2020, so nearly five years. In this time, the cost of acquiring and maintaining my servers has gone up. My time commitment to Osgrid has also increased considerably. Finally, although I do business in US$, I draw my income in GBP, and owing to recent geopolitical events, the US$ has weakened considerably against other currencies, so an adjustment is necessary.
For these reasons, I find it necessary to increase my prices for rentals in OSGrid so I can continue offering the same excellent service I have always strived for.
Our Pricing plans are LIVE and available to purchase as ongoing subscriptions payable via PayPal, Apple Pay and Credit/Debit cards. Existing Masala Estates clients can upgrade to this payment method and stop receiving monthly PayPal invoices which they need to pay manually.
